Kristy started her apprenticeship during high school - this makes her the youngest artist ever to apprentice at Liquid Amber Tattoo. She completed her first tattoo on August 7th 2007. Now a full time artist, Kristy loves any style of tattoos, but particularly enjoys doing pin-up style girls.
Having a natural artistic ability allows Kristy to adapt easily to any style required. She loves the work of local Vancouver artist Camilla D’Errico, but also draws much of her inspiration from artists like Mark Ryden, and Audrey Kawasaki.
When asked what she loves most about tattooing Kristy responded with, “I love the thought of my art walking around the world! I think it is awesome when I run into someone I have tattooed, and to see that person really enjoying my work.”
