Kylie grew up in the small town of New Westminster. Her love for drawing emerged early in life, and with the help of encouraging parents who would simply smile when they discovered her bedroom walls filled with doodles, Kylie persisted in turning her closet sized bedroom into a bustling city of imagination. An ongoing project, her bedroom grew to be an imaginary world, complete with colourful characters, city districts, princesses, frogs, and even an underground sewer system which hosted weekly gatherings for the rodents of unusual size whose sole purpose in life was to steal the world’s supply of toilet paper.

At the age of twelve, Kylie decided she would make her way in the world by drawing, painting and writing. After high school, Kylie attended SFU where she graduated with an English degree. Finally having conquered her native tongue, she set out to make her childhood dreams come true.  Always having an immense interest in the tattooing world, Kylie landed a job at Liquid Amber Tattoo in the summer of 2008.

Completing her apprenticeship under Justina Kervel in the spring of 2010, Kylie is now well on her way to achieving  her two lifelong goals… to have a prospering tattoo career and have her non-fiction novel be on the best-seller list.

Kylie enjoys tattooing anything challenging, she particularly enjoys the realistic style and draws much of her inspiration from artists such as Tamara de Lempicka, Sheila Wolk, and Alex Ross.

Kylie works Wednesday-Thursday-Saturday-Sunday from 12-7pm. Her rate is $150/hr.
