Justina has cultivated a life that beautifully intertwines the essence of family, friends, love and art. From an early age she was enchanted by the world of colours and textures, thanks in large part to her Opa, who introduced her to the delicate art of oil painting at the age of 8. This early exposure did not just spark a passion; it ignited a lifelong commitment to exploring the depths of creativity and expression through art.
As a mother of two, Justina has been trying to balance the demands of parenthood with her unyielding dedication to her craft. Jacklyne, her partner, has been a pillar of support, inspiration, and love, contributing to an environment that nurtures both her family and artistic ambitions.
Justina along with co-owner, Luvia Petersen, opened Liquid Amber Tattoo and Art Collective Inc. in 2001. They have established a space for artists to flourish and have also been at the forefront to redefine the intersection between traditional art forms and the dynamic world of tattooing for women.
