More About Paula:
Paula Fukamati is originally from Brasil, went to high school in Indonesia, but now calls BC home, with her partner and two small rescue dogs. She’s an anxious millennial with ADHD, a recovering people-pleaser, a serial hobbyist, and a lifelong animal lover.
Paula has always loved drawing and working with her hands - from origami to macrame! She started tattooing in 2020, and hasn’t stopped since.
Paula loves fineline black and grey illustrative pieces, as well as intuitive dotwork and freehand botanical pieces! As a former elementary school teacher, she will make sure you have snacks and pee breaks, always.
She believes body modification is a part of human nature - people have been adorning their bodies for tens of thousands of years! As RuPaul says, “We’re all born naked, and the rest is drag.” Decorating our bodies, in any medium, is beautiful and sacred, but also playful and fun!
