Ryan is dedicated to creating a safe, welcoming, and comfortable piercing experience for every client. He is a freehand piercer who uses fully disposable, single-use tools and only works with the highest quality body jewelry available. He is committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and technique in every piercing he performs.
A longtime friend and colleague of the Liquid Amber crew, Ryan officially joined the studio in 2025—and we couldn’t be happier to have him on the team!
Outside of his work at Liquid Amber, Ryan operates his own studio in Ladner, BC. He is a proud member of the Association of Professional Piercers and stays up to date with industry best practices to ensure every client receives safe, professional piercings along with access to some of the finest body jewelry available.

Piercing Services & Prices
Lobe Piercing: $20 each
Large Gauge Lobe Piercing: $40
Helix, Forward Helix, Conch, Daith, Rook, Tragus: $40 each
Industrial: $50 (consult required)
Eyebrow, Nostril, Septum, Tongue, Lip, Nipple, Navel: $40 each (some require consult)
Note: Daith and Septum use rings; all others start with labret posts or barbells.
Jewelry Options
Prices: $40+ for all piercings except those listed below
Tongue, Lip, Nipple, Navel: $60+
Materials: Implant-grade Titanium, Niobium, Steel, 14kt/18kt Gold
Insertion/Removal Fee: $10
- Only recognized brands allowed for jewelry installation.
- There are no age restrictions for insertions and removals (removal fee may vary). It is always recommended to have a piercer insert jewelry to ensure everything is sized appropriately.
- Clients can book in to shop for jewelry, and there is NO pressure to buy anything.
Age Requirements
Please note: All clients under the age of 18 require parental consent. A parent or guardian must be present at the appointment if client is under 16.
(minimum age) 7-11 Years: Earlobes only (parental consent and presence required)
12-15 Years: All ear piercings (parental consent and presence required for under 15)
16+ Years: All ear piercings (with I.D., no parental consent)
14+ Years: Nostril/Septum (parental consent and presence required for under 18)
15+ Years: Navel (parental consent and presence required for under 18)
16+ Years: Lip/Tongue/Eyebrow (parental consent required for under 18)
18+ Years: Large Gauge Lobes, Nipple
All clients 16+ require government-issued photo ID; Clients under 16 require ID with birthdate and parental consent. Any clients who are under the age of 18 DO NOT require a photo issued ID, but still requires a government issued ID with their birthdate on it. Parent/s who are consenting must have government issued Photo ID with their birthdate on it. Consenting Parent/s must be the biological parent or legal guardian. No aunts, uncles, or grandparents etc.
